Haha :-)

Then let me ask differently: Would you announce it here if your application did NOT win round 1?

Because if everyone from challengemeter agreed to announce if they did not win, then at least we know the winning apps from Challengemeter :-) because those are simply the apps that did not announce that they did not win.

So, we really should start the NOTWINNERMETER in order to find out who the winners are :-)

Are you still following me?

Yes. I'll announce if our little cooking application wins the Phase I. Guess

my partner in crime will be OK with the announcement. The reason is to attract people to participate in suggestions and feedback for phase II.

Most people most likely will announce if they win. They are probably not likely to announce now that they might announce later if they win, because if they don't win later then it might be a little embarrassing to announce now that they'll announce later if they win ;)

I hope all you folks announce now, so I don't look like a fool to announce now that we might announce later if we win.

Did anyone get what I just announced? ;-)

I wonder how many people would report to this forum that they have won in round 1? Since only the winners themselves will be contacted it may be that we would not know about most of the winners.

Challengemeter ( http://groups.google.com/group/android-challenge/browse_frm/thread/9f... ) lists only about 8% of the submitted 1788 applications. Based on this ratio, we would only know of 8% * 50 = 4 winning applications.

Possible reasons to announce that you won: * You are happy and want to share your joy. * You want to start advertising your application. * You want to attract people who may help you with feedback, suggestions, and testing for round 2.

Possible reasons NOT to announce that you won: * You are just too busy and want to spend every remaining minute coding for round 2. * You would like to stay anonymous as long as possible. * You don't want to give competitors an advantage by letting them know that your application is still in the game.

So, of the people reading and responding regularly to this forum, would YOU announce it here if you were chosen for round 2?
