Hello,

I'm interested in volunteering my time for this project. I work for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and I'm my third year of Computer Science. There I work with ArcGIS products and other applications which model situations so I have fairly extensive knowledge in Java (Java-Docs) and C++.

As for my reasons for wanted to help out with this project I fall into category 2:

2. 'Enable community members interested in the MySQL source code to "get their feet wet" in the source by learning about the various subsystems and subsequently documenting them'

I was wondering where you would like me to start so that I don't start on something that is already being worked on.
