Thank you! I had a look when you sent out the initial email. I will be happy to add anything we've implemented. At a quick glance it looks to me like most of the functions we're using have been implemented in your version (setuid and password functions)

Here's the URL for our spun-off version of the library. It has JRuby in the package name still, but no other dependency on JRuby.
