List:com.googlegroups.jquery-en

Just to report my last tests to the list, here is my benchmark for the moment (using Drip - http://www.outofhanwell.com/ieleak/, I simulate 99 clics to build 99 lists) basic: from 7155712 to 47800320 (40 Mb lost) purgeEvents : from 7229440 to 110000000 (stop before the end) $.closure: from 7245824 to 67809280 (60 Mb lost) innerHTML: from 7254016 to 17039360 (10 Mb lost)

The winner is innerHTML... BUT even it works well with IE, it's terribly slow with FF. Anyway, it's not a good way because the code must be rewritten since I can't use shortcuts like myvar = $.DIV(...). Anyway, I don't like this way to write code...

I'll find, I'll find, I'll find...

Franck.
