Yeah, I've posted it before together with 'create mailbox' and 'mailbox base' functionality. Should be in archives.
It's done against an old version - I'm trying to find time to do it against a new version and submit formally.

I look in the list and i don't find if a solution was found for return different error than unknown user when mysql connexion is down ?
Currently when maildrop can't connect to mysql he return "user unknown. Command output: Invalid user specified". I would prefer message still in queue of postfix instead of send back to the sender (bounce).
Maybe a postfix param issue to maildrop ?
