Greetings,

I am commenting on the way Maildrop checks permissions on filter files before it will use them.

I really, really hate it when software pretends to know better than I do. I don't have time to modify (and consequently lose convenient vendor support) every package that makes life difficult for me.

Due to Maildrop checking for group or world readable permissions I can not create a directory full of Maildrop filter files for virtual domain users to use. This feature has also annoyed me several other ways, and for me, has no redeeming value.

Would you please disable any checks for permissions next version?
