Subject:Reconfiguring MySQL at startup

Every time I restart my computer I also have to reconfigure MySQL using the MySQL Server Instance Configuration Wizard. Otherwise root password doesnt work in the MySQL command prompt. Is this just normal or can I make MySQL automatically accept root password at startup?
