I think I see the problem. FF displays the date separater as a "-" and IE a "/"
If you manually type in FF with a "/" it works. If you manually type a "-" on either browser it doesn't. If you use the date picker in FF it displays it as a "/", but if you go back to change it again it reverts to a "-".

I'm a Vancouver, BC user as well and I'm equally frustrated using GT.
In response to Christopher I can't reproduce the same problem with the date / hour change, although I notice that if manually type in a date and press update it doesn't. You need to use calendar to pick a date. Seems like a bug. I've tested this on the following and the problem still happens:
FF 3.01 with Windows Server 2008 (display date format in yy-mm-dd) FF 3.01 with Windows XP (display date format in yy-mm-dd)
Works on: IE 7 with Windows Server 2008 (display date format in mm-dd-yy) IE 6 with Windows XP (display date format in mm-dd-yy)
Regional settings are set to dd-mm-yy format (English Canada).
My biggest problem, which to me makes GT largely unusable, is it makes transfer times between bus routes too big. E.g bus times at an exchange are designed around a 5 minute transfer window, however the GT algoritham sees this as too short and suggests the later bus time so all estimates are out by about 15-20 mins. Translink (the local authority) does it correctly on their planner and sadly I find myself using their clunky system more and more because I can't trust GT.
And can we please have bike routes? I can even send you the bike routes for the whole of Vancouver if it would speed things up on that front...

Thanks for the report and I apologize for the inconvenience. We forwarded your weekend issue to agency.
I'm having trouble reproducing your date/time changing problem in Firefox 3 in Linux. I tried starting from google.ca/transit and google.com/transit . Some more details will help us reproduce the problem. What version of FF? What format do you use for the date and time? Could you include the URL you get from Link to this page?
This group is a fine place for reporting problems that are likely to affect many users. Many people involved in Google Transit, both from agencies and Google, read and post here. URLs, route numbers and times can make finding the issue easier.

I use this for Vancouver, BC, Canada. The format of this interface is beautiful, Googlish. Bravo.
But the implementation is really annoying and isn't improving. On two grounds:
1) the data are WRONG! Especially on weekends, it just lies about the schedules! This has got me into trouble twice.
2) Bugs! When I change the date/time for my trip (by choosing "options"), it refuses to comply. If I increase the day by one, the time ends up being changed by an hour in the new trip plan!!. If I change the time by an hour, the day ends up being changed!! Come on, this is too simple a bug to not fix for six months, folkies. I'm using Firefox for Linux in case that matters.
Thanks! It'd be great if some google folk were to read this, since they don't make direct feedback easy. c- Hide quoted text -
