Hi,

This is probably because you cannot embed images larger than 800 pixels.

Cheers, -Jeff

I'm having the same issue.  Are there any workarounds for this?

My problem probably is not related to the crossdomain.xml file.

I'm getting a status 404 error message when trying to load the large images in flash on IE.  If I try loading the same image outside of flash on IE, I get the dialog box that says "Do you want to open or save the file".  When I cancel out of that and reload that page (still outside of flash), the image loads without the dialog box.  I can then load the image in flash on IE.  Weird.

I'm getting these warnings in IE:

Warning: Domain lh6.ggpht.com does not explicitly specify a meta- policy, but Content-Type of policy filehttp://lh6.ggpht.com/crossdomain.xml is 'text/x-cross-domain-policy'.  Applying meta-policy 'by-content- type'. Warning: Domain lh5.ggpht.com does not explicitly specify a meta- policy, but Content-Type of policy filehttp://lh5.ggpht.com/crossdomain.xml is 'text/x-cross-domain-policy'.  Applying meta-policy 'by-content- type'. Warning: Domain lh4.ggpht.com does not explicitly specify a meta- policy, but Content-Type of policy filehttp://lh4.ggpht.com/crossdomain.xml is 'text/x-cross-domain-policy'.  Applying meta-policy 'by-content- type'. Warning: Domain lh3.ggpht.com does not explicitly specify a meta- policy, but Content-Type of policy filehttp://lh3.ggpht.com/crossdomain.xml is 'text/x-cross-domain-policy'.  Applying meta-policy 'by-content- type'.

When I try to load a large image in flash on IE, I get this error: Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.

The only way I can get the image to load in flash on IE, is to first load the image in IE outside of Flash so that the image is in IE's cache.

It works fine in Firefox though.

Hi all,

For those of the AS3 persuasion, you'll be happy to discover our image servers now offer a crossdomain.xml. Example:

Now you can load thumbnails directly without worrying about crossdomain restrictions! Hooray!
