Larry, Thanks for the heads up. Near as I can tell, the man pages for wicontrol and ifconfig haven't changed to reflect this change. Hence, I don't see how to turn that on. All of my supported media types are still adhoc. I'm running stable as of May 10th. Any pointers you could give would be great.
What flavor wi card are you running? I'm running an Intersil-based Linksys card. The mediaopt hostap is what you need, if your firmware/chipset will support it.
