It's ridiculous that one aggregated service call, such as "getKeywordList", or the resulting number of single calls with "getKeyword" result in the same number of operations being subtracted from your quota. I've had to revert to the GUI for all keyword operations and I use the SOAP API for the less intensive ad group and campaign operations
