Greetings people.

I cannot seem to get sketchup 6 /sketchup pro 6 to work. Everytime I Open the progrsm it freezes for approx 3-4 seconds and then comes up with a message saying that it is not responding. I have tried multiple solutions but it still wont seem to work the way I want it too. One solution I tried was I opened properties in sketchup and went under compatibility and checked the "run in 256 colours" box. It seemed to respond ok but because it was in 256 colours, it came out in some sort of negative/high contrast colours. While the program was still working in order I unchecked the "Learning Centre" Box; as I thought this might have been what was causing it to freeze. (or so I read on another thread) but still did'nt work?

If anyone has any Info or advice on how to fix this problem I would Appreciate it.
