Hello,

LIBELIS (www.libelis.com) sells LiDO, a commercial implementation of JDO that support Mysql v.3+. They have a "community version", which is free of charge. I'm currently testing it for an academic project.

Hello all,

I am working on this too and would be very interested in hearing anything about this combination too. If anybody is interested in cooperation in an own sw-delopment in this area and/or real-world application in what I have developed already please contact me.

with greetings

Claus

I tried to use MySQL with "Transparent Persistence technology" bundled in Sun's "Forte For Java" IDE( see http://forte.sun.com/). Transparent Persistence classes provide an "early implementation" of JDO. Transparent persistence uses in background JDBC driver. I couldn't find an apropriate MySQL - JDBC driver. Please tell me about your experience with JDO-MySQL.

Calin

Has anyone used MySQL and JDO together yet?

I'm very interested in the JDO technology, but haven't found a good place to start yet.

Can anybody suggest any URLs to refer to, or code samples, or even send me example program(s)?

Much thanks.
