There are escrow services that could be used.. there are also already
a couple services out there specifically for open source bounties. I
really don't have experience with any of them though.

My thinking is that we will just ask for a "promise to pay" (along

Any ideas about this? There's clearly some risks and questions to be
addressed (what about failures to honor promise to pay, who will
collect
the payments and forward them to Igor, etc), but I think it's worth
considering.
