Kevin, in my opinion this is a "big step forward". IMHO it's a perfect waste of CPU-power (and also bandwidth) to do a realtime-update in the list-control.

Ah, one more thing I really dislike about the updated versions you're releasing. In the 1.0 version of MySQL Manager, the graphic interface (grid view) was great for browsing rows. When you dragged the slider down, it would scroll the rows for you, allowing you to quickly scan your rows of data. Somewhere along the line, you changed this so that the rows do not scroll when you drag the slider down! The view in the grid is only updated when you stop the slider and release your mouse button. I could not find this as an environment option, alas, so it looks like you discarded that very useful (well, to me, anyway!) functionality. IMHO, a big step backwards. The ability to scroll a window while scanning the contents is a pretty basic part of Windows functionality.
Just some feedback. Still seems to be a tool worth registering. :-)
