RH. Courier Imap the latest version with LDAP support for both packages. Sorry about being persistant. The bg.gif is in /var/www/html/webmail/bg.gif, this is indeed found by the rest of

the browser products. We know that SqWebmail is in HTML > 4.0 is this not supported in Netscape 4.xx, their site says nothing !!!

Have you tried just hacking it and providing a symlink in /var/www/cgi-bin/ for bg.gif to /var/www/html/webmail

just a thought and something to try.
