It would be very helpful to understand Google's perspective on the best go-to-market and deployment strategies for Android developers. Will Google certify "Android Applications"? What baseline hardware capabilities will be required of the device manufacturers? What carrier agreements will be in place to assure Android applications can be deployed? Will Android developers have to obtain agreements with each targeted carrier to deploy or will a Google certified application be available to purchase by each carriers customers? Will revenue be required, if so will sharing agreements be with Google or with each individual carrier?
In summary, please outline the expected sales and deployment opportunities and the expected requirements for accessing those channels by 3rd party android developers.
Many Thanks,
Vince

Hello,
We have been invited to speak at the Open Web Developer Summit in April 2008. I wanted to reach out to developers and see what topics would be of interest.
There is a 45 minute slot and we are looking to fill it with information the Android development community can use.
Any input would be much appreciated!
Below is a summary of our paper:
All Your Tools Are Belong To Google: Developing Augmented Reality Applications in Android SDK
Android SDK forms the first true hardware/software standardization. Developers will no longer have to modify their code in order to support the hundreds of different mobile devices. Because Android is open source it levels the playing field for all developers. In this session Tom will demonstrate the awesome power that Android SDK offers developers with a first look at an augmented reality application. This application incorporates the use of GPS, Wi-Fi, Camera and 3G/ GPRS technology which blends the virtual with the real world.
