Before 3.23.21 win32 version was evaluation only. There should be a file called mysqld-shareware.exe. Maybe you would want to try the most recient, since it has gone GPL it is the unrestricted. Use as you please under the GPL agreement.

I am running Windows NT 4 and I was trying to install mysql after downloading the following archives: winclients-3.23.14.zip and winclients-3_22_26.zip). None of them contain the file mysqld.exe or mysqld-nt.exe which are obviously required to run the engine as NT service. It seems to me I have downloaded a totally wrong archive to start with. How should I proceed? Thanks.
