Juan, This is a very, shall we say, bulky way to do it...

Set up a backend network using private ip addresses (on something like 10.0.0.0) that cannot be seen from the internet on it's own VLAN. Add a nic to each. Viola... secure connection. Of course if your switches get hacked, you are no longer secure.

If it must go across the internet, look into VPN. Both of these solutions are a pain in the butt, but could work. I have the same issue, but luckily, I don't need to leave the rack to get from one box to the other so the extra NIC works fine.

I see no one responds my last question; maybe it's not easy to fix or may my english be so dark that nobody understood the question (and maybe, I known :-(

Anyway...

How should I encrypt comunications between two mysql servers using SSL support? I nkown it's no full support for SSL yet, but I need a solution and I'm looking for alternatives.
