I am running alpha 0.8.2 of mycc on redhat 7.2

mycc starts and runs ( looks great btw ) I seem to able to do everything except add or edit tables!?

I have tried mysql-3.23.41-1 as distributed by RedHat and 3.23.49 as distributed by nusphere

any hints
