Hi Vijaya,
After downloading and installing the plugin from http://www.icefaces.org/main/downloads/os-downloads.iface?category=NetBeans I see the problem as well. I tried to rename it once the project was created, but was unable to do that either. I was able to add a new package and then delete the default package however I don't see a way to designate the new package as the default.
I ran through the process again creating a second project and found that I was able to change the default package, but after deleting those projects and creating new projects I was back to the same behavior.

I treid to create a project: on the frameworks screen of the wizard, I have selected only "Visual Web ICEFaces". The moment I edit Default Java Package it is consuming all keys (It is not disabled). But If I select Visual Web JavaServer Faces, I am able to change the default package.
Its a strange problem. Did I miss something on my configuration

Hi Vijaya, I was able to change the default package, what are you seeing in the Configuration tab of the Frameworks wizard step for Default Java Package, is it disabled or something?

With the latest ICEface NetBeans plugin (v1.7.2SP1), you can add the ICEfaces framework to an existing project and begin to develop ICEface pages along side existing Woodstock pages. Resources have been created to aid migration, including a detailed Migration Guide and a Component Comparision Matrix between Woodstock and ICEfaces components.
