Data Migration Issues ============= Hello List, Please I would need your input to the issues raised below.
I)MOVEMENT OF DATA between MySQL SERVER 4.0.12 (STANDARD) and MySQL CLUSTER
ENGINE (5.0.3)
a)Is there a way to move data residing on a regular MySQL Server (using Innodb
or MyISAM Storage Engine) 4.0.12, automatically into a MySQL Cluster
installation (NDB Engine, configured with the 5.0.3 distribution )
b)If it is possible, pls how can I go about it
c)Are there technical documentations that can assist me in the pursuit of this
objective? If there are pls where can I get them
II) MOVEMENT of Data between one MySQL Cluster Installation and another MySQL
Cluster Installation
I have two MySQL Cluster installations A and B. Cluster A was built with MySQL
distribution 4.1.9-max while Cluster B was built with 5.0.3 distribution. Now,
my question is how do I move data in between the two clusters over a TCP/IP
connection without having to upgrade cluster A to 5.0.3
I will appreciate everyone's contribution to this problem. Also links to
relevant web pages will be greatly appreciated.
I thank you all in advance
COGI
