While I know that SMTP AUTH is of course the preferred method, I'd still like to know if Courier either has some provisions for POP/IMAP before SMTP (e.g. via dracd [ http://mail.cc.umanitoba.ca/drac/index.html ].

Can anybody please shed a light on this?
