Subject:[courier-users] Spiffed up auth MySQLActions...

Hello All,

I've been working on a juiced up auth MySQL piece for courier. Ultimately what it gives is better control over virtual user accounts.

Here's a list of the features: 1. Complete table customization via authmysqlrc. Tested/Working 2. Optional MaidirQuota support. Tested/Working 3. Optionally grant or deny POP3/IMAP access on a per user basis. Tested/Working 4. Optional ability to disable/enable accounts on a per user basis. Incomplete

Additionally, the logic for 3 & 4 is available for auth LDAP and authdb, but currently its not implemented. This functionality will not work with local accounts via pam. I'm currently working on adding the "ENABLED" check to the local delivery agents.

My question is this: Is there enough interest for me to submit this patch to the group. In my opinion, 3&4 are much needed features for any ISP or large email hosting company using courier.

I look forward to your comments.
