Looks good overall. Nitpicking:
The type of date seems off. It isn't a type of date surely?
The property is a property of the 'case' or ...
the date is wrong semantically?
How about
<date-decided>1990</
or even
<decided>1990</
instead.
I'll then guess there are other dates relating to the case?
