In testing some of the sample trips a person new to Google Transit
should not be given too many choices. The transit system has
suggested a trip from A to B. Here is a trip
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&saddr=Alturas,+CA&daddr=Greyhound,+Reno,+NV&f=d&sampleq=1&time=&date=&ttype=dep&dirflg=r
where the rider needs to figure out which of the many names found
"greyound in reno" (in that case it is the first choice on Stevenson)
and then choose one. I'd suggest we have the transit select the
location and make that the default.
here is another sample where the choices may help a knowledgeable
rider but frustrate the new one for a pre-set trip at RTC RIDES Reno:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&saddr=Robb+Dr.+and+Mae+Anne+Ave.,+Reno&daddr=Renown+Regional+Medical+Center&f=d&sampleq=1&time=7pm&date=&ttype=dep&dirflg=r
or a trip in the Bay Area Network:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&saddr=N+1st+and+Santa+Clara,+San+Jose,+CA&daddr=Great+America,+Santa+Clara,+CA&f=d&sampleq=1&time=&date=&ttype=dep&dirflg=r
Just TOO MANY choices. Is this a "maps" issue? I will hope it can be
resolved. We certainly don't want to limit a quality search that is
