the permissions on sqwebmail are as follows: -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1474443 May 8 15:54 webmail

Should be -r-sr-xr-x

Ok ... gave that a go and still no luck ... I tried these permissions -r-sr-xr-x 1 root bin 1474443 May 8 22:26 webmail

and I also tried setting the ownership permissions to root:root but still no luck. :-(

Any more ideas??
