Possibly you need python-devel package installed?

I'm trying to build Xen from sources (xen-unstable-src.tgz) but the make aborts with the following message:

error: invalid Python installation: unable to open /usr/lib/python2.3/config/Makefile (No such file or directory)

I have no "config" directory under /usr/lib/python2.3, however Python package has been correctly installed on my Linux system.
