Check the section "Logical Divisions: The Categories of Elements in DocBook" in Chapter 2 "Creating DocBook Documents" in DocBook TDG, though the list is not exhaustive: http://www.docbook.org/tdg/en/html/ch02.html#ch02-logdiv
