Hello,
Just wondering if anyone answered your question yet since I don't see
a straight answer here.
My Hostway account askes for information under these titles.
1. Source 2.Type (which is mx) 3.The number 4. the target
We need to know what the Source should be and the Target
Googles terminology gives us the below info, just not in hostway
terms.
MX Server address Priority
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 10
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 20
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 20
ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 30
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 30
ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 30
ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 30
Thanks for your help!

Hostway.com hosts my server as well as my domain name. I can go in and
change MX records or create my own. This is how I have my MX Records
set up.

google.com. 20 alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
google.com. 10 aspmx.l.google.com.
googlemail.com. 30 aspmx2.googlemail.com.
googlemail.com. 30 aspmx3.googlemail.com.
googlemail.com. 30 aspmx4.googlemail.com.
googlemail.com. 30 aspmx5.googlemail.com.
However... apparently this is not correct as Google has alerted me
that I have an error atHostway. I can send email out but I cannot
receive it with Google Apps. I do not know how to fix this problem,
and Google is not helping (as usual). I'm about to give up... it's
been three weeks since I tried to complete this confusing process, and
every step of the way I've had issues.
Does anyone know how to configure this stuff correctly inHostway?
Your help will be appreciated more than you know!
Happy New Year!
