Alright, I understand the stir I created by adding a new intrinsic entity.
Do we all understand the criteria by which something is deemd intrinsic? I agree with User and Role as intrinsic. Nice choice.
I am still scratching my head about the stir. Why? 1. I never heard of a web app without media in their problem domain 2. Infrastructure already exists to support intrinsic schema 3. UploadableMedia.JAVA is generic enough to cover countless kinds of media 4. Who wants to roll their own code for photos, docs or clips? It is all done. What an awsome feature.
It passes the abstract test, problem domain test and infrastructure for it's existence has been in existence with extensible intent I would hope...
Is trails a toy or is it going commercial? We have a demand for a large scale collaborative commercial web app to track incredible amounts of machinery abroad. I always thought an intrinsic infrastructure for statable objects would also live within the intrinsic infrastructure as BPM just like in JBoss.
This baby belongs to Chris. Either he wants to have intrinsic schema or not.
No fluff... just stuff...

Ken, are you on the de...@trails.codehaus.org mailing list?
BTW, I still want to close this one (de...@trails.dev.java.net). Chris can you do something about it? Can you tell me what can I do about it.
Alejandro.
