Hi,

This is because scriptsoftware.com is using Google Apps and it appears you have registered your Apps e-mail account as a Google Account as well. So the problem is you were authenticating with your Google Account password and not your Google Apps password (since HOSTED_OR_GOOGLE assumes you want to use the Apps account if it exists for that e-mail.)

Sorry if that's a bit confusing. The idea is Apps domain accounts are separate from Google Accounts at this time and therefore can have different passwords.

Cheers, -Jeff

So shortly after writing this, I found something. I changed accountType from "HOSTED_OR_GOOGLE" to  "GOOGLE" and it worked! So I guess "HOSTED_OR_GOOGLE" isn't working?

So I read everything I could and jumped right in, only to spend the day receiving "Error=BadAuthentication" messages. I have tried to change everything I can possibly think of but I still get the same error message. I also receive it if I don't include any details, which leads me to believe that I am doing something wrong but I cannot see it. Below is a copy of the message I am sending to google (I have blanked out my password). I am posting it towww.google.comonport 443 using a secure connection. I always get a 403 response.

I tried the username and password in Google/Picassa many times to try and validate them, with no fails.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, I would appreciate it. After working with Flickr I though Google would be a walk in the park, but I cannot even get authenticated and I am tired of seeing "Error=BadAuthentication" all the time.
