I encounterd some serious problems with Maildrop in combination with vpopmails vdelivermail:

I set up a Spam Scanner as described on

During some first test everything ran smoothly, no problems and Spam Mails are being dropped in a Spamfolder properly. After a night with a little traffic on a virtual domain I recognized some dropped mails. One mail got dropped during the night and after the first dropped mail not a single mail reached its destination. So I switched back to normal vpopmail deliver via vdelivermail without maildrop. Everything worked again. After another switch to maildrop , no problems. But without any warning , mails got dropped again.

The Logfile of maildrop says:

Date: Mon Nov 17 15:26:46 2003 From: [Mail Protected] Subj: test !Err: | /home/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail.log '' bounce-no-mailbox (1116)

as an example. Now I would like to know why mails are not delivered by vpdelivermail, which obviously returns an exit status != 0 .

Sadly I am not able to isolate the error.
