Yes, very well put. I was thinking about two possible ways for the question I wanted to ask. I chose the short one. :)

I guess upgrading Courier can be done fairly quickly that it wouldn't cause too much delay on the mail system. There are folks here with rather large mail structures. Mine on the other hand is minimal to say the least.

The thing to understand is that most (good) programmers are pedants. They have to be. Computers are fussy.

Perhaps you meant to say that you had identified two possible ways that it might be appropriate to upgrade your system, and wondering which of the two was recommended, or whether, indeed, there was a preferred alternative that you hadn't mentioned?
