Can I ask you another question?

I configured MySQL Cluster to use SCI Transporter among Data Node, and SCI Socket for communication between SQL Node and Data Node.

Under this environment, I checked SCI Socket packets and TCP/IP packets, with "sar -n DEV" and "cat /proc/net/af_sci/stats" commandes.

Data Node: SCI Socket packets plus TCP/IP packets SQL Node: SCI Socket packets plus TCP/IP packets

SCI Socket packets are for communicatin with Data Node and SQL Node, so I agree.

However, what kind of data is transfered on ethernet of Data Node and SQL Node?

IIRC, we recommend that you still use normal TCP for mysqld -> ndbd connections. We may enforce this in the code (I'm not sure).
