You don't have . (dot, the current directory) in your path. Just run ./jam0 at the prompt when this fails.

Hi,
I am trying to make a binary of jam from source on Linux Redhat 7.1 2.96-81 installation with
gcc version 2.96 make 3.79.1 gnu for i 386 redhat-Linux-gnu I downloaded the sources and what i could gather from the README was to just issue a make command in the source directory.
Here is the error I get
$ make jam0 make : jam0 command not found make *** [all] Error 127
1) I am sorry if this issue was already addressed before. 2) I am not subscribed to the list as yet. so Please ensure my email id in the reply. 3) I could not get any help with search on the Perforce site. 4) If i missing on any system config I will be most happy to furnish any further details.
