Ooh, was she lucky.
A friend of mine was subjected to a 2 day perl+cgi class taught by a local outfit that listed perl among the "technologies" they specialize in.
The first half day was spent teaching vi.
The next day and half didn't get all the way through hashes, yet this was billed as a perl+cgi class.
Go figure.
