Hello,

I have managed to create a set-up that uses Postfix, Courier and MySql. This works fine and I decided to introduce MailDrop now. I managed to install MailDrop.

I configured main.cf as follows:

maildrop_destination_recipient_limit = 1 maildrop_concurrency_recipient_limit = 1 virtual_transport = maildrop

and master.cf as follows:

maildrop unix - n n - - pipe flags=R user=vmail argv=/usr/bin/maildrop -d ${user}@${nexthop} ${extension} ${recipient} ${user} ${nexthop} ${sender}

I created a maildroprc file under /etc/courier/ but I left this one empty.

My aim is to have maildrop deliver the emails to the users created in the MySql database. I know maildrop is connecting to the database since in the mail.info log file I can see that if I send an email to postmaster, maildrop tries to put this email in the postmaster directory.

However each time I try to send an email I get the following error:

Does anyone know why I am always getting this error. At the moment I am not trying to put any rules I just want to get a set-up which allows all emails to be passed and then I will try to improve on that one.
