Hmm...
Depends: If your existing file system needs its last sector, then it wont work. If it does not need it, then it might work (although fsck does not check for a raw-device shrinkage - I think)...
I say, can you make the size of ad0s1f one sector bigger with bsdlabel(8) without changing the start sector? I mean: Is there at least one free sector after ad0s1f?
