Hi!
After a fresh installation, WinMySQLAdmin uses the default root
user and try a connection to insert a new user. This user and
his password are save in the my.ini file.
Then if you don't have the root user and the user added by the
tool in the grant tables and in the my.ini file, the tool isn't
more able to connect.

I am working on Win98 using MySQL server 3.23.28-gamma, client 3.23.22-beta.
If I put a password on the root account and remove the anonymous user
winmysqladmin can't connect to the database anymore. I can't find any
info on what config file changes I can make to allow winmysqladmin to
login under those circumstances. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
