Does anybody have reccomendations for good merge tools (commercial,
shareware of freeware)? One of the best things about clearcase was the
visual merge & diff tools (and visual branch tool). You can either respond

We have just released the second public beta of our new application, Araxis
Merge 99 Professional for Windows 95/98/NT. Some of our customers are
already using Araxis Merge with Perforce (we've written an extra
command-line utility to make this easier).
Araxis Merge is a two- and three-way visual file comparison/merging and
folder synchronization application featuring side-by-side file diff, merging
with in-place editing, directory hierarchy comparison and merging, and full
printing support.
