I think, vtabwrite~ maybe could be used to make a "v"-version of tabwrite~, by which I mean something, that acts correctly with clock-delayed messages as vsnapshot~, vline~ etc. do.

The "v" could also stand for "variable," as in [vd~]. Could you have [vtabwrite~] and [vtabwrite4~]? The interpolation scheme could get a little tricky... I think we discussed this a few months ago when someone asked for amounted to a variable [delwrite~] with interpolation.
