Hi!
The feeds on photos.googleapis.com only work with ClientLogin or AuthSub authentication, cookie authentication is disabled. So private information won't show up in the feeds unless you provide an Authorization header. Have you tested this using an Authorization header or are you just viewing the feeds in a browser?

Thanks for the response Jeff.
Did you test it with private photos?
I just tested it again with a new tag and it still is not working for me.

Hi,
I was able to retrieve photos by tag from photos.googleapis.com using the process you described:
http://photos.googleapis.com/data/feed/base/user/test.jfisher/albumid...
Maybe there was some kind of indexing lag before the tag you added was searchable?
Cheers, -Jeff

To test this, I've been adding a tag to a photo in one of my Picasa web albums. I then copy the RSS link of that album and add "&tag=" to the of the address along with the tag I just added. I get the results I want with that address, but when I replace the picasaweb.google.com with photos.googleapis.com, the information appears with no pictures.
I just discovered that it works with my public albums, but not with my private albums. I can see all my private pictures on photos.googleapis.com, but can't filter by tag. Can this be fixed?

I'm building a flash application that uses photos.googleapis.com rather than picasaweb.google.com due to flash player security issues. Why is it that when I add a tag to one of my pictures, I can filter my RSS feed by that tag on picasaweb.google.com, but not on photos.googleapis.com?
