Seriously - this is old stuff. If you have problems with these packages, the right place to go is the Debian maintainer, because only they will be interested in supporting old software.

You're right about that! Although apt-get kept reporting sqwebmail was not available, I was finally able to locate it on the Debian FTP server. I installed it, and sqwebmail was up and running within minutes. I'm new to Debian after years and years and years of using Red Hat. I have to say I'm learning to despise Debian. I didn't choose this as my OS--I inherited it. Why on earth would anyone choose an operating system that uses old software packages? But that's for a different forum...
