Eric,

I'm trying to set the publishing priority using the entry object in C#. I can't seem to figure out how to access the property. I see in the example that it is in the metadata.

Where is it in the C# objects?

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

As announced on a recent Google Base Blog post (http:// googlebase.blogspot.com/2008/04/publishing-priority-for-base-api- items.html), the default value for publishing priority will change from "high" to "low". When you insert an item that doesn't explicitly specify which priority to use, the "low" value will be used.  As a result, items without a specified publishing priority will not be searchable immediately.

In most of the cases, this change won't affect your items. If you think it's important for your items to be searchable immediately, you can override the publishing priority by explicitly providing the publishing_priority tag.

Read more about specifying the publishing
priority:http://code.google.com/apis/base/starting-out.html#PubPriority

This change will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008.

Cheers,
