Maybe you should try with a newer version. If I remember correctly this version had problems with service starts and/or stops.

Hi,

I am currently using MYSQLD Ver 3.23.37-debug for Win95/Win98 on i32

I want to use the Innodb tables in my database, I tried to set the parameters in my.ini file as described in the online documentation to enable the Innodb. Dispite several tries I never succedded in.

The service fails start giving error

C:\MYSQL\BIN>net start mysql The MySql service is starting. The MySql service could not be started.

A system error has occurred.

System error 1067 has occurred.

The process terminated unexpectedly.

How ever the service start normally when all the innodb parameters are commented.

I would be greatful if some one can give me a suggestions in this regard

Rajeev
