Just a "me too". It's definitely the Google Map Search, and it's happening in Firefox on both my Windows and Linux machines. Please let me know if anyone comes up with a (good) way to remove the module.

For the record, I have succeeded in fixing a friends' by hitting stop at just the right moment during the page load cycle. If you can stop it after the title bar loads but before the actual data does, it won't reload but will allow you to remove the gadget. Unfortunately, I have not been able to repeat this. Is there any way to disable page reloads?

I have the same problem. I'm not developing any modules, the last one that I added was the Google Map Search. Now I'm stuck in the loop in both IE and Firefox, and I've tried it on a couple of computers. Clearing cookies or cache didn't help.

I would be very interested in any possible solutions.
