Yes, LID needs to be virtualized. Shouldn't that be included in your guest SMP patch?

LID is not currently virtualized on dom0 because of IOSAPIC. LID is virtualized on domU.

Not sure why IOSAPIC makes difference to dom0/domU. Could you elaborate?
