Jamie Clark welcomed the new TC to OASIS and outline some procedural issues

Election of Chair

Ray Deneberg unanimously elected chair (nominated by Kerry Blinco) Matthew Dovey unanimously elected co-chair (nominated by Ray Deneberg)

Recruitment

Walked through potential participants - discussed of possible OpenURL, OAI, OpenSearch contributions Action: RD/MD to discuss further with Peter Roden Action: AS to approach Ann Apps

Meeting Frequency and Time

Agreed initially working on every third Wednesday at 9am ET (1pm UTC, 2PM BST), noting flexibility over summer holidays.

SRU 1.2 Walkthrough

RD walked through the current SRU 1.2 document.

Action: MD to attempt outline OASIS template based on this document

Use Cases

Discussed obtaining use cases from the wider community. Agreed that a template for submitting use cases would be useful provided it was not prescriptive. Agreed that we should not seek to retrofit use cases.

Action: MD to look at UDDI TC for sample templates Action: KB to approach David Massert over e-learning use cases Action: All to consider use cases from communities they are aware of
