same "visual bug" with mozilla. The problem is when people do a search
in INBOX folder, netscape has "with subfloders" in default. And here we
have people with 150,200 meg mail. :(
that certainly sounds like a legitimate complaint.
I didn't had this visual bug with UW-imap. so why courier ? ok courier
respect rfc, it's good, but it should put a option to solve this visual
bug because i think many people don't like it.
I think it's a design issue with courier-imap and maildirs where the inbox
kinda has to be the top level directory. When I was using the patched uw-imap
it allowed folders that weren't under INBOX, but they were scattered all over
the user's home directory and somehow users would see folders with the same
name as their mailboxes and think "oh...I should throw that in the trash".
For us, this was an inferior solution to what courier does.
I suppose you could kludge something together in which your mail does *not*
get delivered to the toplevel Maildir, but instead goes to one of the other
Maildirs...
